Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) Advisory is the independent assessment of market attractiveness, demand, customers, competition, business model and commercial forecasts in connection with an investment or transaction.
Overview
CDD is forward-looking and evidence-intensive. It uses market data, customer research, expert interviews, competitor analysis and commercial modelling to test management claims. Scope must focus on the few uncertainties capable of changing the decision, price or post-deal plan rather than attempting to describe an entire industry.
