Overview

Strategies include merger arbitrage, stressed and distressed credit, spin-offs, post-reorganization securities and capital-structure trades. Returns depend on event probability, timing, legal terms, financing, market hedges and recovery values. The same event can create materially different exposures across a company’s securities.
