Bio
The Economy Admin is the institutional account of The Economy, responsible for publishing official notices, institutional policies, partnership guidelines, and administrative announcements. Editorial articles, research, and analytical commentary are published separately under their respective authors or editorial teams.

The Economy welcomes original research, substantive professional commentary, and institutional collaboration in economics, technology, business, policy, and related fields. Our publication is intended for analytical communication and informed public discussion—not the purchase of search-engine visibility or editorial credibility.

We distinguish independent editorial contributions, institutional content partnerships, and paid advertising. These are separate arrangements, with different standards for selection, attribution, disclosure, and commercial terms.

Commercial enquiries: Our advertising programme is designed for established organisations seeking substantive communication with a professional readership. It is not a low-cost guest-post marketplace, an agency link-building channel, or a volume-placement service. Commercial terms are shared with suitable prospective advertisers after an initial review of the proposed campaign.

1. Independent Editorial Contributions

The Economy Review welcomes informed contributions from researchers, academics, practitioners, industry specialists, and other professionals capable of presenting well-supported arguments or findings. The strongest proposals explain an economically or institutionally meaningful development, examine its implications, or add evidence that is missing from public discussion.

Editorial selection is based on the value of the proposed analysis rather than the contributor’s willingness to pay. Neither publication fees nor paid editorial access are part of this process.

  • Suitable material may include original research findings, evidence-based industry analysis, policy commentary, professional case studies with generalisable insights, and expert perspectives on emerging structural changes.
  • Prospective contributors should identify their expertise, the central claim of the proposed article, and the evidence on which it rests.
  • Submissions must be original or clearly disclose prior publication, commissioned relationships, and other relevant interests.
  • The editorial team may substantially restructure, fact-check, rewrite, shorten, or expand accepted material to meet The Economy’s analytical standards and house style.
  • Substantive adaptations may be returned for contributor review. Attribution, including whether authorship or acknowledgement is appropriate, is determined by the actual intellectual contribution and agreed prior to publication.
  • Acceptance, publication timing, headline, presentation, and any external references remain at The Economy’s editorial discretion.

A company or communications agency may suggest a legitimate expert or research finding; its commercial interest does not automatically disqualify the idea. It does not, however, confer a right to publish promotional language, an executive profile, a brand mention, or a particular hyperlink.

2. Institutional Content Partnerships

The Economy also considers editorial relationships with universities, research institutes, professional associations, conference organisers, public-policy organisations, and other institutions engaged in substantive knowledge production. These relationships aim to make complex work accessible to a wider professional audience while preserving the source’s intellectual substance.

  • Editorial adaptation of research papers, working papers, expert presentations, and conference proceedings.
  • Post-conference analytical summaries and dissemination of selected speakers’ work.
  • Expert interviews, multi-author discussions, and institutionally relevant commentary.
  • Thematic collaborations or series built around a defined research or policy question.

Each arrangement is evaluated for intellectual relevance, the material and permissions available, contributor approval where appropriate, and the editorial resources required. A partnership, invitation, acknowledgement, or article adaptation does not imply institutional endorsement or guaranteed favourable coverage.

Independent editorial collaborations may be conducted without commercial consideration. If a proposed engagement is principally a paid communication exercise, it belongs under sponsored advertising rather than this programme.

3. Sponsored Advertising Content

The Economy offers a limited commercial advertising channel for suitable organisations seeking to communicate with a readership interested in markets, technology, policy, business, and institutional developments. Sponsored content is a premium, transparently identified advertising product—not a substitute route into our independent editorial programme.

Sponsored advertising is offered through selective institutional arrangements. We work with organisations seeking purposeful, transparent communication rather than inexpensive content placement. Our commercial terms reflect the editorial preparation, publication standards, and institutional context of the engagement. We do not provide public guest-post rate cards, negotiate backlink fees, or offer entry-level placement packages.

Each accepted campaign is defined through a written scope covering the advertising format, review and preparation requirements, publication arrangements, and applicable commercial terms. Original research, extensive editorial production, custom illustration, multimedia, translation, campaign distribution, or other bespoke services, where available, are assessed separately. No unlisted distribution or performance benefit is implied.

  • Mandatory disclosure: Every sponsored article carries an obvious designation such as “Paid Advertisement” or “Sponsored Advertising Content” near the headline and wherever else necessary to prevent confusion with editorial reporting.
  • Identification: The sponsoring organisation must be identifiable. Commercial claims and product references must be supportable and must not mislead readers.
  • Link treatment: Paid outbound links use rel="sponsored" or another appropriate search-engine-compliant attribute. Followed links are not part of the product.
  • Editorial control: We may request substantiation, edit for clarity and compliance, reject unsuitable topics or claims, and determine presentation within the advertising format.
  • No endorsement: A paid advertisement does not imply independent assessment, recommendation, research validation, inclusion in a ranking, or a relationship beyond the disclosed advertising engagement.
  • No performance promise: No guarantees are offered regarding search rankings, indexing, organic traffic, referrals, conversion, social distribution, or commercial outcomes.

Advertising enquiries should be made by the advertiser or its authorised representative, with the organisation, campaign purpose, proposed topic, and intended markets clearly identified. Acceptance is selective and subject to written confirmation of scope and terms.

4. Link Placement and Search Engine Policy

The Economy does not participate in backlink trading or search-ranking manipulation. We do not provide standalone link placements, whether described as guest posting, editorial outreach, contextual insertion, link exchange, digital PR, or any similar service.

  • No paid followed backlinks, insertion into existing independent articles, or removal of sponsored-link attributes.
  • No undisclosed advertorials, ghostwritten promotional material presented as independent analysis, or payment in return for editorial citations.
  • No mass-placement offers, agency link inventories, private-blog-network arrangements, bulk SEO packages, or discounted reseller programmes.
  • No guarantee that a suggested organisation, brand, source, or website will be cited in an independent article.

Our journalists and editors may independently cite commercial websites when genuinely useful to readers. Such editorial citations are selected for their evidentiary relevance, not through purchase, reciprocal arrangements, or contractual link requirements. We may revise or remove links when their relevance or reliability changes.

The Economy does not participate in reciprocal link exchanges, cross-promotional linking arrangements, or agreements that condition editorial references on mutual visibility. Independent references to third-party research, publications, and institutional resources may be included where editorially justified, without any expectation of reciprocal treatment.

5. Editorial Separation, Rankings and Conflicts

The distinction between editorial coverage and advertising is fundamental to our institutional credibility. Independent editorial judgments, research conclusions, selection of contributors, and ranking methodologies cannot be purchased or influenced by advertising expenditures.

In particular, advertising does not buy coverage by The Economy Review, affect the placement of an entity in The Economy’s rankings, or entitle a sponsor to influence an article about a competitor or its market. Any separate commercial use of ranking marks or materials is governed by its own licensing conditions, not by sponsored article placement.

Contributors and prospective partners should disclose financial, employment, consultancy, sponsorship, or other material relationships that could influence the way their work is interpreted. When necessary, we may require appropriate disclosures, change the proposed format, or decline the engagement.

These principles should be read alongside The Economy Ethics Code, which governs editorial independence and institutional conduct across our work.

6. Submission Requirements and Review

To enable a meaningful first assessment, please provide the information corresponding to your proposed arrangement. Generic requests for “guest post rates,” without a clear editorial subject or identified advertiser, are directed to this policy rather than treated as individual price negotiations.

Sponsored advertisingAdvertiser identity; authorised contact; proposed subject; campaign objective; intended audience; material for suitability reviewSuitability review followed, where appropriate, by a formal commercial proposal

We may decline enquiries without further correspondence, particularly those seeking link placement, undisclosed promotion, or commercial exceptions to these standards. Unsolicited material should not be understood as accepted for publication unless expressly confirmed.

7. Contact and Policy Administration

Editorial proposals, institutional partnership enquiries, and suitable advertising requests may be directed to [email protected]. Please identify the type of engagement in the subject line so that the enquiry can be reviewed appropriately.

The Economy reserves the right to interpret, update, and apply these guidelines, as well as to accept or decline any proposed contribution, partnership, or advertising campaign. All arrangements are subject to the final written terms agreed with the relevant parties.

Our governing principle is simple: We welcome substantive expertise and transparent commercial communication, but we do not sell independent editorial judgment or search-engine authority.
